A NODA script by John Morley was given a pleasing airing by this specialist pantomime society with good performances from Samantha Yarwood in the title role and the two Lauras - Bason and Hadaway - as Prince Charming and Dandini.
Comedy came from Susie Jones and Carl Cooper as the Ugly Sisters, Danni and Kylie, plus Anne Peers and Tony Barrow as the knockabout pair, Smash and Grab. Stalwart Peter Oldfield was Baron Stoney Broke and there was a highlight performance from the young Christopher Currlett as Buttons. He struck up an immediate rapport with the audience and demonstrated a surprising degree of confidence for his tender years.

The sets were good, especially the coach scene, and the production moved at an admirable pace with bright costumes, lively routines and tuneful accompaniment.
